Weather refers to a multitude of extra conditions that could be affecting any moon, usually adding additional challenges and hazards to the outdoor area of the given moon the Employee landed on. The weather randomly changes on each planet every time a day passes in-game.

The Exomoons catalogue, accessed through the ship's terminal, lists both the moon name and the weather forecast for each moon.

Inexperienced crews may want to avoid moons that are experiencing inclement weather, such as stormy moons, or flooded moons (however weather has no influence on a moon's scrap amount or value).
