Scrap is the main collectable found in the facilities. Loot tables define where and how often certain scrap can spawn. Unlike Equipment, Scrap is lost upon team death, this includes items that have a use like Stop Signs and the Double Barrel.
Stop Sign
Value: 20-52
Weight: 24 lb
Conductive: Yes
The stop sign has the same use as the buyable shovel: You can use it to defend yourself from monsters.
Shotgun
Value: 45
Weight: 16 lb
Conductive: No
A double barrel, which you can use to kill certain monsters (or your teammates I guess). One-shots any mortal monster.
Beehive
Value: 40-150
Weight: 0 lb
Conductive: No
Possibly the best scrap to find as it’s very common on maps like 61-March. Always good to bring back to the ship, it might save your quota.
Robot Toy
Value: 56-88
Weight: 21 lb
Conductive: Yes
This toy makes a LOT of noise when being held, which is very attractive to eyeless dogs. There’s a simple trick though: Repeatedly drop and pick up the toy robot, until it stops making a noise while being held. Just make sure to not reselect the toy in your inventory until you drop it in your ship.
Gold Bar
Value: 102-210
Weight: 77 lb
Conductive: Yes
The gold bar is the most valuable item in the game, but also one of the rarest items. Be careful when carrying it back to the ship, as you can’t run away from monsters while holding it, since it weighs so much.
Apparatus
Value: 80
Weight: 31 lb
Conductive: Yes
If you pull the apparatus out of its socket, you basically shut down the entire facility. The lights turn off, a radiation warning is being shown and at least 2 additional monsters are guaranteed to spawn right away somewhere on the map. I recommend taking out the apparatus right before leaving the moon, so you can get the most scrap without making your journey inconvenient.
Player Body
Value: 5
Weight: 11 lb
Conductive: No
If an employee has died and the crew fails to retrieve the body, either by carrying it back or by using a teleporter, the company charges 20% of the crew's current credits per body lost. This can amount to a lot of fees, so it is advised to always bring back the bodies if possible. Assuming someone dies on 71-Gordion (Company Building), you can sell the body for an extra 5 bucks. (Don’t kill your teammates dude…)
