So, you've finally made it into the facilities and you're out for scrap? Well, that won't be the only thing you'll find on the way. Danger is waiting just around the corner. Below, you will find a list of all indoor entities which can occur on your journey through the halls of the facilities, and additional information on how to avoid or even defeat them.

Bracken

The Bracken, also known as the Flower Man, is a shadowy humanoid creature that can creep up behind you silently, waiting for the moment to snap your neck when you least expect it. They can spawn on every moon, although 56-Vow has the highest spawn rate. They deal immediate death once they attempt to snap your neck. Trying to kill one of them is not impossible, though. You could deal 3-5 hits to them using a shovel or sign in order to kill them, causing them to sink into the floor and vaporize.

Here's how you can deal with them:

The best chance of survival is to completely avoid them. Once you spot a Bracken, make sure to look away from it as soon as possible, as staring at it will aggro it. It will then proceed to back up, but it will return. The more you see it, the more aggro it will become, meaning it is more likely to attack you at a relatively high pace even at a glance. If you assume it is about to kill you, you'd better start running and try to run around corners to evade it, or even better, get out of the facility. (Tip: They can open doors in just 1.25 seconds, and zap guns are basically useless)

Bunker Spider

The Bunker Spider is a large arachnid found on every moon, with the highest chance of occurrence being on 41-Experimentation. They randomly spawn in the facility, where they will lay down their spider webs, slowing down anyone trying to trespass it. Luckily, not only can you kill the spider with 5 hits using the shovel or sign (it will kill you in 2 hits though), but you can also remove the spider webs that way.

Here's how you can deal with it:

Bunker spiders stay in one area of the facility if they're in their passive state. Once they spot a player, they will start crawling towards you, but lucky you, they're not as fast as your sprinting pace, so you can easily outrun them. Once you lose the spider, it will return to its nest. Another important note on them is their height, as they're considered ankle biters. Therefore, you can just stand on an elevated platform or a rail in order to avoid getting killed (where you can easily kill it too). (Tip: Avoid getting into its webs, as that will reveal your location to them).

Coil-Head

Coil-Heads, also known as Spring Men and Mannequins, are tall humanoid entities found on every moon except 41-Experimentation and 220-Assurance, with the highest spawn chance being on 21-Offense. They are eyeless mannequins with agape mouths, no forearms, and a flexible spring for a neck. Their bodies are punctured with nails that are surrounded by what seem to be stains of blood. Coil-Heads patrol through the facilities, looking for their next victim. A characteristic thing about them is whenever the player is looking at them, they are unable to move. But once they find an unaware player, they will rapidly dash their way to kill you in one hit.

Here's how you can deal with it:

Try to maintain eye contact to prevent it from getting closer. If you remember the way you came from, try backing up by going backwards (still keeping eye contact), and hope that you will find a door. Closing a door on a coil-head will temporarily stop them from catching you, as it will take them approximately 17 seconds to open the door. That’s your cue to run away immediately, preferably out of the facility.

Ghost Girl

The Ghost Girl is easily identified as a pale-looking girl with a vibrant red dress. She mainly spawns on the hard moons 85-Rend, 8-Titan, and 7-Dine, although she has a very small chance to spawn on 41-Experimentation and 220-Assurance too. She’s known for haunting one employee at a time while remaining invisible to any other player (although she’s visible on the ship’s camera monitor). The targeted employee will spot the girl at a rather long distance three times before being chased. Whenever you maintain eye contact, the sound around you will go quiet, and you will hear a girl's giggle and an uncomfortable breathing sound. The difficult part about her is that she can go through doors and even outside all the way into the ship, making it difficult to escape from instant death. The chance of getting haunted depends on how paranoid you’ve gotten during your trip on the moon. The more you look around (instead of going straight), the more paranoid you get.

Here's how you can deal with her:

The best thing is to avoid eye contact at any time. The more you see her, the higher the chances are for her to chase you down. Entering or leaving the facility will temporarily reset her chase, but she will soon chase you again. You could also take advantage of a bug in the game, where you can get on top of the red cupboard in the ship by glitching into it. There, the ghost girl is unable to reach you and therefore can’t kill you. (Tip: Don’t try killing her, as she’s invincible to any harm, and she's also not stunnable by the zap-gun.)

Hoarding Bug

The Hoarding Bug, also known as “Loot Bug” or “Yippee Bug,” is a rather friendly and passive creature roaming the facility. It can spawn on every moon except on 85-Rend, while 220-Assurance has the highest spawn rate. They roam around the facility, trying to find loot, which they can pick up and guard. Trying to take a scrap item from them will aggro them immediately. Another way they will get aggressive is by getting too close for too long. Their aggro state is basically just them flying towards the player at increasing speed. It will kill you in 3-4 hits, while it can be killed in 2 hits using the shovel or sign (but why would you…)

Here's how you can deal with it:

Avoid getting too close or stealing anything from it. If it’s chasing you, run around some corners until it stops flying around. (Tip: The Zap-Gun is useless, as it would rather make them aggressive than actually zap them)

Hygrodere

The Hygrodere, also known as Blob or Slime, is an amorphous entity found in the facilities. It moves very slowly around the facility, only dealing damage (instant death) to players caught inside it. It’s also invincible to any harm, but it can get stunned for a while. Hygroderes can occur on every moon, but their highest spawn rate is on 21-Offense.

Here's how you can deal with it:

Just move around it if you can. They’re ankle biters, meaning you can easily jump over them or stand on elevated platforms or rails.

Jester

The Jester, appearing to be a diminutive jack-in-the-box with skinny legs, might seem somewhat adorable, but beware – these creatures are ticking time bombs that can eliminate your entire crew in seconds if you aren't careful. They first follow players silently for a minute or so, then they stop and start cranking for another few seconds until they pop out and start hunting the nearest player. Fighting them is useless as they are invincible. They mainly spawn on the hard moons, with 85-Rend having the highest spawn rate, but they also have a tiny chance of spawning on 61-March.

Here's how you can deal with it:

You can safely ignore him while he’s just following you, but as soon as he starts cranking, every player should leave the facility, as that resets the Jester to its initial state. (Tip: Don’t stand still near doors as they may block your exit to safety.)

Masked (Mimic)

The Masked, also known as Mimics, are anomalous theatre mask entities. They try to mimic the player’s movements and get closer to the player, where, if they catch a player, they will turn them into one of the Masked too. There are two ways they can appear:

1. They can spawn naturally on 85-Rend and 8-Titan.

2. There are two types of dramatic masks, which can be found in the facilities, lying around like scrap: Comedy and Tragedy. Both of them have a 65% chance (every 5 seconds) of turning the player into a Masked if held in their hands or if the player dies with the dramatic mask in their inventory.

Here's how you can deal with it:

Masked are not good at running around corners, so while you try walking backwards in a circle, you can kill it using a shovel or a sign with 4 hits.

Nutcracker

Nutcrackers are, as the name implies, large nutcracker soldier figurines that are typically on the move. They are blind while moving, but as soon as they stop, their head lifts, revealing their eye, which they use to scan for players. Once they spot one, they will use their double-barreled shotgun to shoot players. If the nutcracker gets killed, it drops its shotgun, which can be loaded, including two guaranteed Shotgun Shells. Nutcrackers can spawn on every moon except on 56-Vow.

Here's how you can deal with it:

If you’re new to the game, try avoiding them, and when they spot you, do not move at all, as they would shoot you otherwise. If you’re more experienced, try hitting the nutcracker while he’s peeking around, then hide around the corner, and repeat until he (or you) is dead.

Snare Flea

Snare Fleas are large centipedes that like to hang on the roof and surprise players walking underneath them. They will try choking you to death, which can be stopped by either leaving the facility or hitting it off using a shovel or a sign. Snare Fleas can spawn on every moon, with the highest chance on 220-Assurance.

Here's how you can deal with it:

If you spot one in the distance, avoid walking underneath it. If you have to pass it, try sprinting, as they can’t catch you that fast. Honestly, just kill them by hitting them twice using a shovel or a sign; they’re pretty pathetic and slow.

Spore Lizard

Spore Lizards are shy entities, walking around the facility on their own. They don’t want to hurt the player, but they will proceed to do so if you get too close to them. Then, they will release their spores and try biting you. Trying to defend yourself is useless, as they are literally invincible.

Here's how you can deal with it:

Brother, just ignore him. He’s just a cute fella who doesn’t want to hurt anyone. He makes cute squeaky sounds too :3

Thumper

Thumpers, colloquially known as Crawlers, are two-legged, highly aggressive entities. If they spot you, they will charge at you at an increasing pace (much faster than you), but they are absolutely pathetic at going around corners, as they slow down immediately and reset their speed. They can spawn on all moons except on 85-Rend, with the highest spawn rate on 21-Offense.

Here's how you can deal with it:

If a Thumper spots you, run away from it in a zig-zag pattern to outrun it. You can also try killing it by hitting it 3-4 times using a shovel or a sign. The first hit will reset most of its speed; that’s when you try to fully kill it. Otherwise, start running again.
